It will be really heartbroken to see a well-performing website fall under the penalty of Google. Of course, you can’t even think about this, right? However, before it is too late, it will be wise to know ways to help you avoid future Google penalties.

Now, the million-dollar question arrives, “How do I do so?” No worries; in this article, we’ll guide you through all the possible facts you should know to avoid Google penalties on a large scale.

A few thoughts about Google Penalty

Do you know how much Google cares about you? Not only you but also your friends and family, teachers, classmates, and you name it. This is because the giant search engine always wants to showcase the best possible search results.

What was your previous experience searching on Google? Good? Well, it was supposed to be!

As Google doesn’t create website content or run an ecommerce business. Google shows you the best possible search results based on the keywords people use to search. It shows the web pages that are most relevant according to the search query.

So, it makes all the sense that Google won’t allow content creators to create something fantasy and come at the top of the search result pages. The formula is simple. If you are a website owner, you are not allowed to create any content that goes against Google guidelines.

If you do so, you will be penalized by Google. This means it decreases your website performance which you might want to avoid happening.

Ways to Avoid Google Penalty

  • Create Proper Content

You should continuously create appropriate content, not for the search engine but for the audience. Your priority would be to help people with your content rather than directly attempting to promote your products and services.

Creating spammy content (content that is not helpful for people) will reward you with a Google penalty, and this is not a joke. At the time, ranking higher on the search engine result pages was pretty easy without creating proper content. But, gone are days. The algorithm of the world’s largest search engine has become smarter and doesn’t keep any scope for spammers to dominate the search result pages.

  • Forget Link Spamming

Your link-building strategy for your website must be as natural as possible. Don’t be over-smart and focus on creating snappy links on other websites. Google does consider the backlinks, but they should come from reputed and authorized sources.

You don’t need a bunch of links to rank higher on the search results. Moreover, Quality is key here rather than quantity.

  • Stop Keyword Stuffing

Keyword stuffing is a bad practice in 2022. You should use keywords naturally in your content. When you put keywords forcibly too many times in your website’s content, Google thinks you are doing so only for the sake of the search engine but not for people. But unfortunately, it ends up providing you with nothing.
